FOOD STAMPS/SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (SNAP)
Public assistance program designed to help people become self-sufficient and independent while preventing hunger and malnutrition. Applicants may apply for an electronic card (Cardinal Card) that allows for purchase of food items from participating grocery stores.
